RICS Home Buyers Surveys

Level 1
This is the most cost-effective type of survey. If you are new to property or construction details don’t excite you as it does for us, the 'Level 1' survey will ensure that there are no major issues with the property you are looking to purchase. It's aimed at newer homes and conventional properties and notes defects but doesn't usually provide advice on how to fix them.

Level 2
Our chartered surveyors visually inspect the home's condition, highlighting visible defects and advice on suitable repairs or further advice needed from specialists. A Level 2 Home Buyers Survey is ideal for standard homes, helping you avoid surprises and negotiate effectively, ensuring a smooth move into your new place.

Level 3
A Level 3 Homebuyers Building Survey will provide you with a complete picture of a property’s overall condition. Your Level 3 Home Survey report will include expert guidance about remedial work and any anticipated problems, along with estimated costs of repair or improvement work.

New Build Snagging

If you've just purchased or recently moved into your dream new build, a snagging report by a chartered surveyor helps identify any unfinished work, incorrect details or imperfections to ensure they are identified to the house builder to resolve. These "snags" can range in size and a snagging report details them for you, ensuring the builder is formally made aware of any issues within the warranty period plus help you navigate sometimes difficult defects claims.

Defect Diagnosis
